The inaugural meeting of PROBUS by the Bay was in 1997 and our birthday is celebrated in June each year. 

PROBUS by the Bay is a group of retired and semi-retired women who enjoy keeping mentally, physically and socially active by participating in a variety of activities.

The PROBUS by the Bay Club meets monthly to listen to speakers on various topics of interest and to sign up for as many interest groups and social outings as they like.

 We are a healthy, strong organization due to the careful planning and sound foundation established by the first management team, but it is the members who shape the direction of the club through their advice and participation. 

Our membership is capped at 300 and we do maintain a waiting list

We meet at 1:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at New Life Church, except for December, July and August when we meet offsite at selected other locations.

COVID INFORMATION:

In accordance with the Province of Ontario guidelines, proof of vaccination will not be required at the General Meeting of PROBUS By The Bay. Wearing masks, at all times, is still required.  However, proof of vaccination will be required for attendance at all in-home events of PROBUS by the Bay.
