What is Ski Legends?

PROBUS Ski Legends was formed in 1997 by local PROBUS club members, as they recognized that there are many skiers in the Collingwood area whose partners or friends no longer ski, and who are looking for compatible “ski buddies”. 

Our mantra is: “No one should have to ski alone”.

Currently, there are some 200 Legends members from 14 PROBUS clubs.  Each club is represented on the Legends General Committee.


FREE Social Events:

  • Annual Wine & Cheese Shopping Spree (2026 date TBA). Kick off the season, socialize with your ski buddies and meet some new ones, do some Xmas Shopping, 20% discount on soft goods @ this event only, arrange for Ski Tunings, meet others going on trips, and find out about our plans for the winter!  MUST BE A MEMBER AS OF NOVEMBER 30 TO ATTEND. More info on the website and in upcoming emails to Legends members.
  • The end-of-season Legends Breakfast (late March).  Come for breakfast and stay for one of our last Wednesday ski days!

All participants must be PROBUS members and members of PROBUS Ski Legends.

Ski Days:  

We Ski Together every Tuesday and Wednesday at Blue Mountain (meet at 9:30am at the Silver Bullet) from January 6 to the end of March.  Depending on the numbers, we will break up into groups by skiers’ levels. Stay for lunch on Tuesdays at different restaurants in the Village and at the Inn.

Private Clubs:  And we ski at the local Private Clubs on 6 Thursdays throughout the season. Meet at 9:30 at the main lift.  Each Club has specific protocols and rules.
