SKI LEGENDS


What is Legends?

PROBUS Ski Legends was formed in 1997 by local PROBUS club members, as they recognized that there are many skiers in the Collingwood area whose partners or friends no longer ski, and who are looking for compatible “ski buddies”. 

Our mantra is: “No one should have to ski alone”.

Currently, there are some 200 Legends members from 14 PROBUS clubs.  Each club is represented on the Legends General Committee.


Why Join Legends?

FREE Social Events: Skiis and Biikes Wine & Cheese Shopping Spree (Wd Dec 4) and the end-of-season Legends Breakfast in the spring.

Reduced Midweek Membership at Toronto Ski Club (pass not included).

Ski Days: Every Tuesday and Wednesday at Blue Mountain (meet at 9:30am at the Silver Bullet) from January 7 to March 26.  Stay for lunch on Tuesdays at different restaurants in the Village and at the Inn.

Private Clubs: We ski at the local Private Clubs on 6 Thursdays throughout the season.

  • Thursday January 9th, Alpine                    Cost $78 including Tax
  • Thursday January 16th, Craigleith           Cost $90 including Tax
  • Thursday January 23rd, Osler                    Cost $90 plus Tax
  • Thursday January 30th, Georgian Peaks Cost $80 including Tax
  • Thursday February 13h, Devil's Glen       Cost $72 including Tax
  • Thursday February 27th, Osler                  Cost $90 plus Tax

Ski Trips: Two trips every year to a variety of awesome ski resorts in Canada, the US or Europe.  Registration is now open for the 2025 trips.

  • Sun Peaks BC (7 nights), February 2 - 9 - this trip is SOLD OUT but you can still add your name to the waitlist.
  • Banff/Lake Louise (7 nights), March 2 - 9 - stay in the fabulous Chateau Lake Louise and Banff Springs Hotel!

Membership cost is $50 per year.
