DATE:  July 12, 2023

LOCATION:  Jones Bluff on the Bruce Peninsula

CAR POOL MEETING AREA:  NE corner of Metro Parking Lot

DEPARTURE TIME:  8 am (Note earlier departure time)

TRAIL:  We will carpool from Metro to the Tim Hortons in Wiarton for a washroom break.  Then we will drive 20 minutes north.  The hike is a 7.1km loop around Jones Bluff with excellent viewpoints to the south, east and north.  We will lunch at a clearing looking out on Sydney Bay.   Then we will continue hiking back to cars.   The hike will be 2.5 to 3 hours.  We will then drive back to Collingwood with an ETA of 4pm.

BRING: Hiking boots and poles are highly recommended.

Please bring water, snacks and lunch and insect repellent.   If it is a hot day, you should have 2 liters of water.
