WHAT- “A Taste of Home” – Wines of Canada

WHERE - at Norma’s home in the Shipyards

    WHEN - Thurs. May 22, 2025, 4 p.m.

WHY – With the increasing desire to support buying Canadian, it is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the great wines we grow in our country.  Learn which varietals we grow best, the differences in the regions and provinces and get recommendations on some of the best tasting VQA wines we have available. Our first course, “Wine Simplified” on Jan. 9 with Erin Rooney was a great experience that was both highly educational and a lot of fun.

Erin is an accredited wine professional and past wine executive with a great deal of experience with our local wines.  Each guest will receive a selection of 5 wines that we will taste together to learn about the key varietals Canada does best and what to look for when shopping local.  You will also receive a list of “Erin’s Picks” that suggest wines at different price points.  You will enjoy Erin’s friendly and approachable style and there will be many opportunities for questions along the way.  This event will be approximately 1.5 – 2 hours in duration.

COST - $50 inclusive of tax, non-refundable, wait list available, limited to 10 participants, cut off for registration is May 15, 2025
